William McCabe
Bill is a government relations and communications professional based in the Washington, D.C. metro area who brings nearly a decade of experience in legislative affairs, strategic partnerships, grassroots advocacy, and political communications at the federal, state, and local levels.
At Concepts Communications, Bill serves as a government relations and strategic communications consultant, primarily managing the expansion of the Clear2Connect Coalition. The Coalition’s mission is to educate federal lawmakers and relevant stakeholders about the critical importance of quality and accurate Internet Protocol Captioned Telephone Service (IP CTS), especially among our nation’s veterans. This includes managing federal advocacy efforts by engaging Congress, VA, FCC, and the White House, forming strategic partnerships, and serving as a liaison to the Coalition’s veteran and military service organizations.
Throughout his career in Washington, Bill has been a staunch advocate for servicemembers, veterans, and their families. Most recently, Bill has served as Director of Legislative Affairs and Communications at the Enlisted Association (TREA), a congressionally chartered veteran and military service organization. Prior to joining TREA, Bill assisted clients in the defense industry engage federal policy makers as the Director of Government Relations at Capitol Integration.
Bill is currently serving in the U.S. Army National Guard and attends Drill with the 116th Infantry Division in Virginia. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Intelligence Analysis from George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government, where he is now currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Political Communications.
