Rebecca Panoff
Rebecca Panoff is an accomplished communications, social media and digital professional with two decades of nonprofit and newsroom experience.
In her current role at Concepts, Inc., she directs digital strategy, engagement and communications for clients including U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) for projects managed by DOL’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP). These projects include the Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion (EARN) and the Campaign for Disability Employment (CDE).
Prior to her time at Concepts, she ran the social media program at the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), the nonpartisan advocacy affiliate of the American Cancer Society in Washington, D.C. In that role, she developed and implemented comprehensive social media strategies for the organization’s federal grassroots advocacy campaigns, programs and initiatives in the fight against cancer.
She spent several years before that as communications director for the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) in Washington, D.C., where she was responsible for media strategy and promotion for the largest cross-disability membership organization in the country. While at AAPD, she launched the organization’s social media program.
Before moving to the nonprofit sector, she was a newspaper reporter in Florida, where she covered local government, growth and crime for several newspapers.
Rebecca graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor of arts in history.
