Samantha Greenberg is a communications professional passionate about using her writing, storytelling, outreach and advocacy skills to connect with people and ensure that people with disabilities can live their best lives. With more than 9 years experience working in marketing and communications, and a lifetime of experience in the disability community, Samantha’s goal is to help create positive change and a shift in perspectives and stereotypes surrounding the disability community.
At Concepts Communications, Samantha currently supports the Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion (EARN) initiative, ePolicyWorks, The Employment Laws Assistance for Workers and Small Businesses (elaws) and The Campaign for Disability Employment (CDE). Her tasks include developing outreach strategies, identifying target audiences, drafting writing projects such as blogs, monitoring media coverage, representing projects on various webinars and providing support wherever else it is needed.
Samantha was born with Spina Bifida and has been active in the Spina Bifida community, both locally and nationally for many years. She graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2011 with a degree in English and a minor in Journalism and previously worked as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at the Spina Bifida Association. At the Spina Bifida Association, Samantha mainly managed social media and wrote blogs highlighting the accomplishments of the association and community.
Prior to working at the Spina Bifida Association, Samantha worked as a Communications Associate for the Philadelphia Department of Parks & Recreation and had several communications internships including at a disability advocacy non-profit and New Mobility magazine, in which she had the honor of having her writing published.
