Rachel McGreevy is a state and local outreach advisor and Mayor of Neptune City, NJ who is passionate about policy engagement and service to the community.
With almost 30 years in government and legislative outreach at the state and local level, Rachel currently leads State Advocacy Solutions, a consulting firm that provides bi-partisan outreach for clients and assists organizations in building and managing government outreach and engagement practices. She is chiefly responsible for partnering with state and local policy groups to establish cooperative working relationships and achieve results for stakeholders. In 2024, Rachel took office as the first woman elected as mayor in Neptune City’s history. As Mayor, Rachel is focused on delivering balanced leadership to tackle issues impacting the community such as addressing local flooding, improving water quality in the Shark River and boosting Neptune City small businesses to help them grow and thrive.
Previously, Rachel served as Vice President, State Government Affairs and Community Relations for MasterCard, the global payments company, where she managed US advocacy efforts at the state level and advanced strategic partnerships with third party allies. Prior to joining MasterCard, Rachel led the government relations program in the 50 states and Canada for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the global trade association for retail development. She also held positions at the Minnesota State Capitol representing multiple clients before the Minnesota State Legislature and regulatory agencies.
Rachel is a graduate of St. Cloud State University and the Capitol Semesters Program of American University (1996). Rachel served as a Political Study Program Delegate with the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL) on a bipartisan exchange to Islamabad, Pakistan in April 2005. Rachel is a member of Women in Government Relations (WGR), the New Jersey League of Municipalities and the New Jersey Conference of Mayors.
