Ben Grauer is a Policy Research Analyst who brings extensive experience in disability employment policy analysis to the Concepts Communications team. He has a strong background in researching, analyzing, and informing disability employment policies, with a focus on Employment First initiatives and improving access to employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
At Concepts Communications, Ben supports the State Exchange on Employment & Disability (SEED) initiative, where he conducts policy analysis, develops resources, and assists in advancing strategies to enhance disability employment outcomes at the state and local levels. His work aims to inform and shape employment policies that promote inclusion and equal opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
Prior to joining Concepts Communications, Ben worked as a Program Coordinator at the University of Iowa Health Care’s Center for Disabilities and Development. There, he led initiatives to improve disability employment policies, including promoting changes to Iowa’s Medicaid Buy-In program to enhance access to critical supports. Ben’s experience also includes working with key stakeholders to implement policy reforms that directly impact the disability community.
Ben earned his Master of Health Administration from the University of Iowa in 2023. He is passionate about creating resources and opportunities that encourage systems change that improves the lives of individuals with disabilities.
