Doris Varillas

Doris is a bilingual communications consultant with a background in family science. She is fluent in Spanish and works as a freelance interpreter for organizations conducting focus group interviews throughout the DMV. Doris enjoys giving back to her community by serving as communications team lead at Casa del Alfarero, a nonprofit organization and church based in Silver Spring, MD. Her work there includes simultaneous interpretation, social media management and event production.

Doris graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor of science in family science and is passionate about serving the families of her community.
